I don’t think that is necessarily true. I’ve always just shot whatever my gun likes, but am curious to see what others say.

The where the bullet prints on the paper is not a solid indicator of velocity. I’ve had many occasion where slower loads actually hit higher on the paper than faster loads. It holds true sometimes, but not all the time.
